About me, my journey of self discovery and my life coaching

Hello, my name is Tina, founder of Heal the Mind Heal the Body and I specialise in life coaching. I help clients within a 30-mile radius of Sleaford, so don't hesitate to give me a call so we can begin your journey as soon as possible.


Finding my true calling

My journey of self-discovery began in 2013, and involved finding my true calling - helping my clients to achieve the goals they desire. My passion, experience and calm nature yields great results for my clients, and I take great pride in seeing the positive changes they have made. I live in the beautiful countryside of the village of Anwick in Lincolnshire, in my spare time I love spending time with my two daughters and two grandchildren, I enjoy walking with my beautiful cockapoo called Poppy who may join us in our sessions from time to time. As well as a life coach I am also a physic medium and hands on healer, furthering my services I am able to offer mediumship and hands on healing.


Taking the first step to see a coach can be difficult. However, by using my own experiences I will guide you through any struggles and will always endeavour to understand. I have suffered from low self-esteem and a lack of confidence until I took that first step to change my mindset. Through this experience, I believe I am well informed to help my clients deal with similar issues.

Why I Decided to Name My Business ‘Heal the Mind, Heal the Body’


The first part: ‘Heal the Mind’


You see, l had really bad anxiety. My mind would never switch off. I had very low self-esteem and suffered from a lack of confidence. I had really bad posture and very rounded shoulders. I always felt tired. l was very emotional and never felt good enough. I suffered with migraines, two or three a week. l found life very hard. I found it difficult to make friends. All l wanted was for people to like me and find me interesting to talk to.

Why heal the body?


You see, l spent so much time criticising myself that I never, ever, looked at myself in a positive way. But why was l feeling this way? How could l change the way l was thinking about myself? I had to stop this negative self-talk to myself. So, l sat and thought about me! How was I talking to myself? Would l speak to a friend the way I was talking to myself? No, l would not. I would be nice to them. l would give them praise; tell them how well they were doing and encourage them.


Then the penny dropped! It was the way I was talking to myself, it was so negative. But how was l going to stop the monkey chatter; how could i quieten my noisy mind?


I then came up with a specially tailored daily programme* to improve my thought patterns, etc. l put my ‘exercise programme’ into practice and, wow! What a difference l could see in myself! Not only me, but other people were seeing a difference in me, as well. People who know me would say: “You look taller … have you lost weight? … you look really well”…


I really felt alive for the first time in my life. I noticed my mind was becoming more and more calm, and over time my migraines began to get less and less. l seemed less stressed about life and felt much calmer and relaxed in myself.


I realised l had a choice of how l spoke to myself - it affected my whole life.


I started to watch how l was talking to myself. I realised l had a choice; l could speak either positively or negatively. I chose to speak positively, and every area of my life just keeps on getting better and better. My health and wellbeing just keep improving beyond my wildest dreams.
